This page is dedicated to showing my best picture(s) from selected assignments. The most recent images are displayed first. Please contact me with any comments, questions, or concerns. Carin Crego hit the pool one last time in her summer job as a swim instructor at Foss Swim School in Maple Grove.
“The kids make it so much fun, their expressions are priceless,” said Crego, an 18-year-old from Champlin. “They get so excited over a simple high five.”
Crego’s father found the job opening on Craig’s List and she thought she would give it a try since she always enjoyed swimming.
“It is really rewarding seeing the kids develop, knowing you played a major role in helping them reach their accomplishments,” she said.
Her enthusiasm was obvious as she did a countdown with 3-year-old Allison Bell, of Maple Grove, getting her ready to jump off the second step into the pool. She’s heading to Winona State University, where she’ll pursue a nursing degree. But if she has her way, she’ll be back next summer.
“It’s a ton of fun here, I love my job,” she said.
